Head nerve pain causes in Hindi : While you might think there’s nothing too serious about occasional headaches or migraine- it may actually be a symptom of something deeper occurring within your nervous system. And because most people just believe these symptoms will go away at some point if they stop using medication or never see a doctor- they suffer needlessly for years before being diagnosed with such disorders as trigeminal neuralgia and/or central nervous system lesions. When there are symptoms in the nerve supply to the head and face, many complications arise.

For example- sensitivity in areas supplied by the said nerve(s), asymmetrical or loss of function in areas supplied by said nerve(s). And because trigeminal neuralgia (which mostly affects those around the age of 50) is characterized by regular episodes which can last anywhere from seconds to minutes- always involving sudden severe pain felt throughout the face- physicians recommend treatment so these episodes don’t become more frequent and debilitating.

Dr. Ritwij Bihari, Senior Consultant Neuro Sciences, Medanta, Lucknow In order to properly diagnose someone with chronic head pain it is important to perform a physical examination in order to rule out other sources of painful irritation such as infection or skin conditions.

Causes of pain in the nerves of the head – Head Nerve Pain Causes in Hindi

    1. Migraine

Migraines can be one of the main causes for headaches and pain in the head. When people experience migraines, they may suffer from chronic pains at the base of their skull. This often leads to numbness or throbbing sensations throughout their body. If you are experiencing these kinds of symptoms, it is important that you seek medical care because this could lead to something more serious.

    2. Arthritis

Arthritis has also been known to cause neuralgia. Conditions such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis can lead to it – even though they are typically considered ‘degenerative’. What causes this? It all comes down to the cranial nerves near the spine being affected by inflammation, which leads to a sensation of stiffness and tension; headaches being one symptom. So if you’re experiencing any kind of symptoms related to these, it’s best that you take care of yourself before things get worse!

    3. Muscle problems

If there are problems in the muscles at the base of your skull or back of your head, you may feel an irritating tingling sensation from pinched nerve endings. This feeling is called occipital neuralgia and it can stem from stress or a tight neck and shoulders. When people are stressed out they often experience headaches which are caused by overworked brain cells.

    4. Injuries

Injuries to the back of an individual’s neck or head can be one of the main causes of Occipital Neuralgia. These injuries are often caused by falls, accidents, or while playing sports. A sharp blow to the back of an individual’s head could damage nerves; because of this a sharp pain in the neck and/or head is often experienced.

    5. Sitting with bent neck for a long time

People who spend a lot of time reading or working on the computer may find themselves feeling soreness in their neck due to prolonged sitting. This is especially common among those whose jobs require long hours spent typing behind screens. Prolonged sitting puts pressure on nerves which causes pain in one’s shoulders and temples – even though it can also lead to other health issues such as headaches, eye strain, weight gain, sleep problems, or heart disease.

    6. Diabetes

Diabetes has become an all too prevalent condition these days. It happens when the body ceases its production of insulin, and without it there can be complications such as neuralgia. Of course, one issue people with diabetes have to deal with is neuropathy–or nerve inflammation–which causes pain in the head’s nerves.

    7. Infections and Tumors

Serious infections and tumors are one of the leading causes of neuralgia. Even though tumors seldom cause pain in a person’s head due to pressure on those regions, they do sometimes occur. If there is an infection or tumor in the cervical spine region, it can put pressure on the occipital nerves – causing headaches. To avoid these potential problems, if you feel any lumps forming around your neck or throat region don’t ignore them; go see a doctor as soon as possible.

    8. Inflammation in blood vessels

If someone has inflammation in their blood vessels, they could potentially have to face neuralgia. It is vital for them to keep the swelling at bay before it becomes too much or permanent. There are many causes of nerve pain including diabetes, infections, tumors, inflammations, injuries, muscular stresses and arthritis. If one wishes to stop getting this type of pain in the nerves of their head they must try their hardest to stay away from these health issues – some of which could potentially lead to things worse than just headaches such as diabetes and obesity.
