Recently, there has been a new release called Runway 34 starring Ajay Devgn. Although there were many people who enjoyed the film, this latest movie did not do well at its release day due to various other films releasing within close proximity of one another, and also because it was generally disliked by audiences.
In this box office report, we examine the third-week collections of Runway 34 while comparing it to past films from 2022. Collecting Rs. 2.97 cr Runway 34 became the fifth highest grosser for its third week so far in theaters this year; only exceeded by films such as Jhund which collected Rs. 1.25 cr, Badhaai Do which collected Rs. 1.03 cr, Jersey which collected Rs. 0.60 cr, Radhe Shyam which collected Rs. 0.10cr, and Bachchhan Paandey which collected Rs . 10cr .The newest release also manages to surpass some older ones like K G F: Chapter 2 with 49.14cr or RRR with 38 20cr but doesn’t beat The Kashmir Files at 30 95cr or Gangubai Kathiawadi’s 16 25
Going forward, it is predicted that Runway 34 will not experience any more growth in their collections. They had already released two films this year- Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dhaakad – both of which did very well at the box office. A third new movie was also scheduled to be released soon, making it difficult for Marathi film Dharmaveer to make much profit when it came out. However, trade predictions forecasted that after all its profits are totaled up, Ajay Devgn’s latest movie would make about $35 million USD in total revenue.
