The Ranveer Singh-starring 83, directed by Kabir Khan has seen an increased viewership on the New Year weekend. Indeed, the film which had been experiencing a decline in viewership enjoyed a slight growth in viewership on Friday.
With an additional Rs. 4.36 crore being earned, the collection of 83 has reached Rs. 76.23 crore; interestingly, this is due to the postponing of Shahid Kapoor’s film Jersey – originally scheduled for a release on December 31 – which seemed to have benefitted Ranveer Singh’s film tremendously. With new hope for success and encouragement from Friday’s earnings, it appears that 83 will continue its positive trend over the weekend as well, seeing another exciting week ahead!
As of now, trade predictions suggest that with the positive trend 83 has been seeing lately- and it’s predicted that the film will make close to 84 crore before this weekend ends.
