Taking a 4-day trip from Marrakech to Fes is an amazing way to see the beautiful sights and sounds of Morocco. This journey takes you through ancient cities, stunning natural wonders, and gives you a taste of Moroccan culture. Here’s a simple guide to help you make the most of your trip.

Day 1: Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate

    Morning: Leaving Marrakech

Start your adventure in the morning by leaving Marrakech. You’ll drive through the Atlas Mountains, which are really big and beautiful mountains with lots of curves and great views.

    Afternoon: Ait Benhaddou

Your first big stop is Ait Benhaddou. This place is like a giant sandcastle and has been in movies. It’s very old and made of clay. You can walk around and see how people lived a long time ago.

    Evening: Ouarzazate

Next, go to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Here, you can see a big movie studio and an old castle called Taourirt Kasbah. Stay overnight in Ouarzazate and enjoy some local food for dinner.

Day 2: Ouarzazate to Dades Gorges and Todra Gorge

    Morning: Dades Gorges

After breakfast, head to Dades Gorges. The road there is winding with lots of cool rock formations. The gorges are big walls of rock that are really impressive.

    Afternoon: Todra Gorge

Next, visit Todra Gorge, another beautiful canyon with tall rock walls. It’s a peaceful place where you can walk and enjoy nature.

    Evening: Stay near Todra Gorge

Find a place to stay near Todra Gorge for the night. Enjoy dinner and maybe take a walk under the stars.

Day 3: Todra Gorge to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

    Morning: Head to Merzouga

After breakfast, it’s time to go to Merzouga, where the Sahara Desert starts. The drive there shows you how the landscape changes to sand dunes.

Afternoon: Camel Ride and Desert Camp

In Merzouga, you’ll ride camels to a desert camp. This is fun and lets you see the desert in a special way. The sand dunes are huge and look like waves in the ocean.

    Evening: Night in the Desert

Spend the night in a tent in the desert. You’ll have dinner there, listen to music, and can watch the stars. It’s very quiet and beautiful.

Day 4: Merzouga to Fes via Ziz Valley and Ifrane

    Morning: Sunrise in the Desert

Wake up early to see the sunrise in the desert. It’s very peaceful and a great way to start the day. After breakfast, say goodbye to the desert.

    Midday: Ziz Valley and Lunch

Drive through Ziz Valley, which has lots of palm trees and is very green compared to the desert. Stop for lunch in a town called Midelt.

    Afternoon: Ifrane

On the way to Fes, stop in Ifrane. This town looks different from other parts of Morocco because it’s in the mountains and has lots of trees. It’s called “Little Switzerland.”

    Evening: Arrive in Fes

You’ll get to Fes in the evening. This city is famous for its old part, which has lots of narrow streets and shops. Fes is a great place to end your trip because it has so much history and culture.ending of 4 days tour from marrakech to merzouga
