Kaede Honjou reluctantly agrees to experience New World Online, a hugely popular VRMMO in Japan. A complete novice embarks on a quest as Maple, her in-game persona. She puts all her stat points into Vitality, wanting to avoid getting wounded. Kaede/Maple has an impenetrable defense but can’t move quickly or hit powerfully. But it doesn’t end badly for her. Maple’s great defense grants her Superpowers such as Total Defense – rendering all attacks invalid; Immunity to Poison; and Devour (which lets you consume items).
Combined with the formidable Items she collected – this ability allowed Maple to annihilate most enemies in one shot! By the time she played for just a few days, she managed to finish third in a Server Wide Event – gaining herself a reputation as an invulnerable player who could destroy anyone that got too close with just one touch!
Despite her strength, Kaede still has much to learn. Her newfound friends are a great help when it comes to completing new levels and events. She might also pick up some weird skills on her journeys. Silver Link created the animations for this series which were directed by Shin Oonuma and Mirai Minato; Fumihiko Shimo was in charge of the scripts while Kazuya Hirata was in charge of designing all characters.

Urlik had infiltrated the tower to slay them; they are stationed inside waiting to go further towards Druaga. The Urlik army knows that this was one of three Summers of Anu and they would be able to finally eliminate him- if only he was found. But the soldiers weren’t alone in the tower anymore; instead Meskia had popped up from the ground – it became known for its lost Blue Crystal Rod- rumored to be at the top floor on Druaga Tower. How these summers would turn out remains a mystery..

3: KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World
Kazuma Satou, a high school student who is deemed as a NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), found himself before an alluring yet frustrating deity called Aqua. She offers him two choices: go to heaven or reincarnate! Deciding to restart his life for the second time, Kazuma was given the option of selecting one object from her heavenly hoard which would aid him on his quest. He chose Aqua because it seemed as if she had nothing that would help at all. But then again, Kazuma had made another error – Aqua really didn’t possess any extraordinary ability whatsoever!
Their problems didn’t end here; to live in such a place was the antithesis of what they were living for. They had so much bad luck that instead of being able to go on an adventure, they had to first work out how they would eat or where they would stay each night. This was only just beginning for them!
4: Slayers
Lina Inverse, a cunning sorceress who roams across the world seizing wealth from bandits’ stores, was looking forward to rewarding herself after she had taken back all that was due her. But before Lina could turn around and finish off the band of thieves – they came up behind her with their knives drawn- Gourry Gabriev came out of nowhere and tackled them just as they were about to strike. Once he had subdued them, he tried asking questions on whether or not this girl was alright but found himself getting no response because she seemed too confused so decided to escort her until they got to Atlas City since it would be quicker than if he went alone.
Lina had acquired a powerful magical item during her latest adventure, but it wasn’t long before two mystery people became interested in obtaining it for themselves. They think she would be an easy target due to how new she was to this whole adventuring thing, so they went after her. Lina and her current guardian were now on their own adventure, full of danger and excitement.
5: Sword Art Online
In the year 2022, Virtual Reality made huge advancements and Sword Art Online (SAO) was created. Using NerveGear Technology, gamers are able to control their avatars in-game just by thinking about it.
Kazuto Kirigaya (known as Kirito) got the preordered copy of Sword Art Online. When logging in for the first time, he found himself within a medieval world where beauty and terror exist side-by-side. He soon discovered that this world was created by Akihiko Kayaba – who didn’t let them log out because they must complete every floor of his realm before escaping it alive. His best chance for survival lies with teaming up with other people – some would become friends but others would become foes; worst still there were some who, such as Asuna Yuuki, had to die inside Aincrad in order to stop living outside of it.
6: ENDRO!
Naral Island is a world full of adventure and exploration. Every new generation brings a fallen angel lord and hero to subdue him; their body coated in divine light shining brilliantly against the night sky. The cycle has continued without fail for centuries, with no end in sight. Now it is Julia Yusha Charldetto’s turn to finish this long struggle alongside her faithful companions: Seiran Seira Élénoir, Mei Mei Endust, and Fai Fai – all four cast under an artificial moonlight that they dare not question its origin.
In the last battle against the fallen angel, Yusha and her friends were forced to cast a treacherous spell that would send them back in time. So Genzou decided to take up monster hunting instead; becoming great friends with a wolf-woman named Shigure, a dragon girl called Hanako, and even one of Dracula’s own vampires – Carmilla Vanstein. And from this small team they created The Monster Cafe where people could come hang out while dining on dishes made from monsters like hedgehogs or even poltergeists – all for the sake of living life full throttle without regrets…
9: My Next Life As A Villainess: All Routes Lead To Doom!
A lot of people wish they could live in a high-stakes, intriguing world. But for one girl – it’s not just a dream anymore. She remembers everything about her past life and finds herself reborn into the world of Fortune Lover, where she had played before.
Sadly, she was reincarnated into a noble family as Catarina Claes – the game’s main antagonist. When Riku Mikami joins in with his friends Yukio Hidaka and Momoka Yashiro, they soon find themselves coming across a girl named Sarah. She appears to have an unmatchable sensitivity towards all things Gunpla-related, but she also seems mysterious and unusual when it comes down to it.
There are so many other exceptional Divers out there, including Kyoya Kujo – my personal favorite. Divers can form a force with others for unrivaled victory over the competition. There is one type of Diver called Mass-Divers who use unauthorized tools known as break decals to disrupt matches. With all my friends, we’ll make Gunpla and even tell our own stories!
12: Princess Connect! Re:Dive
A boy named Yuuki falls from the sky onto an unknown land. He meets an elf who he names Kokkoro, and she becomes his guardian for all of Astraea. With her help, he can learn about everything there is to know about this new world; where even the most basic items are either valuable or dangerous here – like food or money.
Yuuki and Kokkoro take on a simple mission from the nearby guild organization to fund their travels, when they meet the adorable Pecorine- a warrior who loves food. One day later, they come across Karyl- an adorable cat girl who knows magic spells. Both girls quickly become friends with Yuuki and Kokkoro over time – so much so that they decide to make their own fighting guild together called The Adventurer’s Guild.
With this newfound bond among themselves all four explore the globe- meeting new people, discovering secrets and traveling far distances to find out what happened to Yuuki’s memory before her arrival in the land of Eternal Youth…

He gestured at something monstrous behind him that was advancing towards them menacingly. But before he could finish speaking – as if someone had cut his words off with a sharp knife – both Taichi and Rin were dazzled by a blinding flash of light which engulfed them instantly and sent them hurtling through space until they landed on the ground somewhere else entirely.
Taichi and Rin are thrust into a world they never knew existed, full of new creatures and people. They explore the land before them, gradually learning to use their power while they search for ways back home. Alongside this journey, however, lies another threat – one who plans to put an end to everything once and for all.
15: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken)

For a while there was hope that we could come together under one banner, but our shared values quickly turned into disagreements which led us down an even darker path. The Sakura Empire and Iron Blood separated from what became known as the Red Axis – fragmenting humanity once again.
The Grey Ghost Enterprise is Azur Lane’s best chance at peace. But she is a weak girl, and can’t stand being out on the sea. Still, she fights for what she believes to be her sole purpose. Meanwhile, Javelin, Laffey and Unicorn-three Union ships-meet Ayanami; a Red Axis spy.
They try to befriend her but as enemies their efforts are fruitless. They keep going; looking for some light at the end of this dark tunnel one day at a time if they wanted any hope of uniting these people who had broken apart into different factions–maybe it was even possible when some soldiers seemed willing to take risks just because they were gaining friends so quickly?
17: K-ON!
A new school year brings about many opportunities- but deciding which ones to pursue can be a struggle. For Yui Hirasawa, the decision was difficult at first until she stumbled upon and joined the Light Music Club- thinking it involved just playing around with some simple instruments like castanets. But after coming home from her first meeting disappointed, her friend convinced her that no matter what, everyone has their own skills- plus there are always other clubs to consider if this wasn’t something for her either way.
Meanwhile, the Light Music Club is in danger of disbanding. To persuade Yui to join, the club members offer everything from meals to slacking off during club time. But Yui refuses due to her inexperience with music and instruments; she was never taught how to do anything related. After they finally convince her to join through playing one song for her – which ignited a passion within her; making her feel right at home – nothing really changed at all other than a bunch of people who are willing to have fun together and make music even though they don’t know what they’re doing yet.
18: Gun Gale Online
This famed Pink Devil does not take lives in a virtual reality game. In fact, it takes everything but lives. Karen Kohiruimaki is actually an innocent university student from Tokyo who has grown tired of living life as an ordinary girl. Though she found some solace in the world of video games when her height made her feel less than average, it wasn’t enough.
So when Karen created an avatar to represent herself- though slightly smaller -in weapon Gale Online, she soon realized just how good this felt and eventually found that LLENN was gaining fame among other players without even trying; without killing anyone; without being anything but perfect every day.
When LLENN encounters setbacks during an objective, she meets Pitohui. A talented but odd woman, Pitohui eventually becomes friends with Karen and insists that LLENN participate in Squad Jam; a ruthless competition where teams fight for supremacy. With every move calculated to ensure success, LLENN must strive hard if she wants to become the best.
19: Lapis Re:LiGHTs
Tiara, a young woman from Waleland and aspiring scholar-magician, traveled to Mamkestell where she took an eligibility exam. Passing it with flying colours, she reunited with her best friend Rosetta – who was also enrolled at the prestigious academy. Quickly finding new friends in Lavie (outgoing), Ashley (reliable) and Lynette (adventurous), Tiara found herself fitting right in at this school of magic.
Students are divided among three different sections depending on their grades: Noir, Rouge, or Lapis. Tiara’s section is ranked Lapis while failure could lead to expulsion from the academy. Tiana and Tiara see each other’s struggle and want to push themselves harder for success. In order to move forward though, they will need to battle many challenges along the way- including (but not limited) to improving their skills in singing so that they can come closer than ever before to living up to what their family demands of them.
20: Log Horizon
In a matter of seconds, thirty thousand Japanese gamers are transported into the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Elder Tale – unable to log out. Shiroe, a shy college student is among them, and he wastes no time testing the boundaries of this strange new world.
Shiroe must cope with these new changes and learn how to lead people while also balancing that with his duties as an economist. Naotsugu, who has been out of the game for many years and just created his character once again, joins Shiroe in this world; along with a cunning but diminutive girl named Akatsuki who treats him as her master – both become players against the backdrop of Akihabara which is now under siege. Log Horizon tells us about all the struggles faced when you try to create balance between someone’s personal desires and duty or law when they’re at odds with each other.
21: And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online?
Hideki Rusian Nishimura was down-hearted after proposing to a woman he met in an online game only to find out she was actually an old man. He decided he would never trust another female player again and from then on play games solely for the purpose of having fun with friends.
There was a female avatar named Ako who belonged to Rusian’s guild. Ako had an obsession with him and desired to marry him; he accepted her offer. However, during a chat among guild members, Rusian learned that Ako was actually not just another girl-but also one of his classmates from school.
22: The Rising of the Shield Hero (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari)
The Four Cardinal Heroes are a group of common people who have been tasked with saving the Kingdom of Melromarc. In spite of all its riches and beauty, this land has been plagued by disaster for centuries- coming in waves that ravaged it every time they came along.
The heroes were given weapons to use against them – swords, spears, bows, and shields- but since they weren’t fighters at first glance, they had only one thing going for them when they began the journey: the humble shield. The Shield Hero was mocked by his fellow heroes and everyone else around him- including me; even though he never wanted to be anything but an average man – but eventually he became someone worthy enough to call a hero himself.
With friends and family to fight alongside, Naofumi embarks on a journey with his unwilling partner Malty Melromarc. But when she betrays him, Naofumi is unjustly punished by the people of Melromarc who resent and discriminate against him for something he didn’t do. He can’t face this world alone so after saving a dying demi-human slave girl named Raphtalia, Naofumi purchases her freedom and sets out on a new adventure to clear his name and restore his honor.
32: To save the inhabitants of Melromarc from their doomed future, Naofumi and Raphtalia must resist the waves.
Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru (Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious) You can never be too careful. When there’s a possibility, one should always try to anticipate and plan for what might happen so nothing catches them by surprise. Furthermore, this is particularly true when playing games such as RPGs where the goal is often to defeat opponents with higher levels than oneself.
These phrases totally encapsulate Seiya Ryuuguuin. This hero sets out on his quest to save Gaeabrande’s world after being summoned by the goddess Ristarte with her sister, Pamela. He trains hard and comes prepared with potions and equipment in order to defeat enemies who are much stronger than him. Despite having a difficult personality, Gaeabrande seems to bring out some good qualities in him as they travel together through this scary world of monsters looking for hope that’s within reach yet constantly just out of their grasp.
24: No Game No Life
No Game No Life follows Sora and Shiro, two NEET siblings who choose to live life in a video game environment rather than the world they’re living in. They are suddenly contacted by an unknown entity via email after winning a chess tournament, inviting them to play an online match against its strongest player.
Upon accepting this challenge and opening the attachment, Sora and Shiro find themselves transported into a new digital universe called Disboard – where everything is determined by games rather than violence! Their goal now becomes unifying the 16 races within Disboard so that they can defeat Tet – God of Games – and take over his title for themselves.
25: In Another World With My Smartphone
When God accidentally strikes down Touya Mochizuki with lightning, He decides to give him a chance at fulfilling his childish dream. Touya quickly agrees and asks for the only thing he really cares about – his phone – to go with him on this journey through the new land of magic and beauty. However, while there are many pretty girls wanting to befriend him in this strange place, there are also many problems they bring along as well. If it weren’t for all these ladies saving me from certain death, I would never have met such amazing friends willing to give me advice or even come out here when I needed them most.
