Filmed exclusively in Hindi language, the Salman Khan star-driven Radhe—Your Most Wanted Bhai received its international release on Eid 2021. Though it debuted globally across several countries including India, this Hindi feature just screened in three theaters at its limited India theatrical release. It left theatres for a mere four weeks after first opening for shows.
But thankfully for those who hoped to catch an opportunity to watch it – filmmakers eagerly sponsored 500 additional screenings of this Indian-made film from mid-June through early July alone! Due to these efforts and other marketing endeavors undertaken by distributors interested in the movie—which helped reel in such an eager audience desiring to witness this motion picture in regional markets such as Gujarat—Radhe saw a significant increase over what was originally predicted!
Friday, July 9 would be the final day for screenings at Rupam Cinema because its fifth week’s earnings indicated that there was a significant drop in revenue. In response to this news, Friday Cinemas would screen only two films instead of four; Amber Cinemas would screen one film; and Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai would have just three screenings per day – which meant poor sales for all theaters. Previously available digitally since May 13 and having faced lackluster reviews from critics and audiences alike, we can understand why Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai might seem like an unpopular choice.
A trade expert told Bollywood Hungama, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai has made up to around Rs. 1,258 on Friday, Rs. 1,374 on Saturday and Rs. 929 on Sunday. These are approximated figures. The collections of Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai now stand at Rs. 1,84,950. An industry insider said,
The collections of Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai could still be as good as in previous weeks if the film is released in states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana where cinemas have been able to resume screening movies again. With such high numbers being shown for this movie there’s no way we know whether or not Friday Cinema and Amber Cinema will decide if they want to keep showing the film from Friday July 16th or how long it would take before this movie hits two lakh rupees.
