It is usually cooked in rich gravy which can cause nervousness or other issues like indigestion, gas, and constipation etc. when consumed by some people. The mixture of spices present in it can disturb one’s guts which causes stress on the immune system. Consuming this dish increases the number of calories we take in each day too.

Paneer Pasada has around 200 calories in one serving. It also includes butter, which would add extra fat to the dish. For those who wish to reduce fat intake, you can use olive oil or ghee instead of butter. Besides this, Paneer Pasadas are fried before being made which could lead to an excess amount of fats in the final product. So if someone has heart diseases or suffers from diabetes or thyroid conditions they may not be able to eat paneer pasada very often as it is unhealthy for them.
Healthy recipe of Paneer Pasanda – Paneer Pasanda Recipe
Ingredients: Paneer, cashews, almonds, green chilies, coriander leaves, oil, tomatoes, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks (5), small cardamom pods (10), black cardamom seeds (5), salt to taste
process:
- Paneer pasada can also be made in a healthy way.
- Cut the paneer into thin square pieces.
- Mash the remaining paneer.
- To make the stuffing paste, add green chillies and ground cashews to a mixture of almonds, dried mangoes, lemon juice, turmeric powder and water.
- Take a piece of paneer and apply the prepared paste on it.
- These pieces are deep fried in oil but you can also shallow fry them.
- Then put a vessel on the gas and add onion-garlic and fry it.
- Add green chilies, cashew paste, tomato paste, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, and large cardamoms (in addition to salt)
- Add paneer pieces to the gravy and eat hot.
