Starring Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, the movie received positive reviews and opened to an impressive start. Furthermore, its second day of release saw an immense jump in its collections and the trend was similarly sustained on Day 3.
In this box office report, we look at the opening weekend collections of Jugjugg Jeeyo while comparing the same to Kiara Advani’s previous releases. Collecting Rs. 36.93 cr, Jugjugg Jeeyo manages to surpass the collections of Kiara’s previous releases like Fugly which collected Rs. 9.34 cr, and Indoo Ki Jawani which had collected Rs. 0.74 cr to emerge as her fifth highest opening weekend grosser. Surprisingly, despite the massive promotions and hype the business of Jugjugg Jeeyo does not manage to surpass the collections of Kiara’s previous releases like Kabir Singh which collected Rs. 70.83 cr, M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story which collected Rs. 66 cr, Good Newwz which collected Rs. 65.99 cr, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which had collected Rs. 55.96 cr.
Currently, Jugjugg Jeeyo which faces little to no competition at the box office continues to entice the audience in metros and multiplex-dominated sectors. Given the current trend, the business of the film is expected to see further growth over the coming days.
