Vaccine Registration Process for Umrah Pilgrims in 2022

Covid 19 is almost over, but even so it has already caused many problems. For example, umrah stopped being performed for a short while due to Covid 19; however, now that it has ended people can do umrah again – albeit with some limitations.

One change is that everyone must register their vaccines in an online portal called Muqeem before they go back home. In order to do this you need 3 things: 1) your Identification Card number 2) Your vaccination card 3) Proof of residence from your country:

Types of Visitors traveling to Saudi Arabia

There are six types of visitors that can register their vaccine at the Muqeem platform:

1. Vaccinated Visitor
2. NON Vaccinated Visitor
3. Medical Worker
4. Vaccinated Resident
5. NON Vaccinated Resident
6. Domestic Labor Arriving with Saudi Citizen

Vaccine Registration for the Non Vaccinated Residents (iqama holders):

3. Enter your residence number and provide your date of birth.
4. If you are travelling with dependents, be sure to include them all.
5. Select Quarantine Type: Hotel or Shelter Facility
6. Enter the name of the quarantine hotel.
7. Agree to the terms & conditions and submit your details.

Vaccine Registration for the Vaccinated Tourists & Visitors:

1. First of all, go to the muqeem website by clicking the following link:

3. After that, Choose your nationality type: ‘PAKISTAN’ and provide your passport number
4. Now, enter your correct Saudi visa number and enter your flight details.
5. Choose your destination and airline.
6. Choose the type and date of your vaccination.
7. Agree to the terms & conditions and submit your details.

Vaccine Registration for the NON Vaccinated Tourists & Visitors:

The procedure for Vaccinated Residents is a bit different. Here is how this works

3. Enter your residence number and provide your date of birth.
4. If you are travelling with dependents, be sure to include them all
5. Choose the type and date of your vaccination.
6. Agree to the terms & conditions and submit your details.
7. Your vaccination record will get updated in a few minutes.

NOTE: To continue the registration process, Saudi citizens and non-Saudi residents must confirm through the Tawaklana app that they are registered.

Before Arrival Muqeem Vaccine Registration for Umrah Pilgrims

You will first need to register your vaccination status on the portal from Saudi Arabia at least 72 hours before departure. Umrah pilgrims (short-term) such as yourself, will need to fill out an arrival card and provide proof of vaccinations for travel before arriving.
