The Anupam Kher starrer The Kashmir Files has been dominating at the box office since its release a little under two weeks ago. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri the film has captured the audience’s attention fast emerging as their first choice in theatres. Now after just 13 days the business of the film has managed to cross the Rs. 200 cr mark after starting with an opening day collection of Rs. 3.55 cr.
Apart from being Vivek Agnihotri’s first, The Kashmir Files has raked in a staggering Rs. 200.13 crore in 13 days which becomes Anupam Kher’s first film to achieve this feat. With The Kashmir Files crossing Rs. 200 crore, Kher now joins other actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, and others who each have one film that has made it into this highly coveted club.
When it comes to the movie itself -The Kashmir Files ranks as the 12th fastest Rs. 200 crore grosser just after Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh . Trade is optimistic about its future prospects commenting on how business for the film will exceed Rs 250 crore in the coming days.
