The Green Tree Snake is the smallest snake (in length) in the world, but it is also one of the smallest snakes that are venomous. This snake typically grows to be between 6″ and 12″ in length. Not only is this snake the smallest in the world, it is also one of the most aggressive snakes in the world.

The smallest snake in the world, the Barbados Threadsnake can be identified by its tiny size and unique coloration. The snake is less than 8 inches in length and has no venom.  The small size of the Barbados Threadsnakes leaves it very vulnerable to predators, especially birds.  The snake is endemic to Barbados as well as the Grenadines.
