सालासर बालाजी धाम मंदिर
सालासर बालाजी भगवान हनुमान के भक्तों के लिए एक धार्मिक स्थल है। यह राजस्थान के चुरू जिले में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 668 पर स्थित है। वर्ष भर में असंख्य भारतीय भक्त दर्शन के लिए सालासर धाम जाते हैं। हर वर्ष चैत्र पूर्णिमा और आश्विन पूर्णिमा पर बड़े मेलों का आयोजन किया जाता है। भारत में यह एकमात्र बालाजी का मंदिर है जिसमे बालाजी के दाढ़ी और मूँछ है। बाकि चेहरे पर राम भक्ति में राम आयु बढ़ाने का सिंदूर चढ़ा हुआ है। हनुमान सेवा समिति, मंदिर और मेलों के प्रबन्धन का काम करती है। यहाँ रहने के लिए कई धर्मशालाएँ और खाने-पीने के लिए कई जलपान-गृह (रेस्तराँ) हैं। श्री हनुमान मंदिर सालासर कस्बे के ठीक मध्य में स्थित है। वर्त्तमान में सालासर हनुमान सेवा समिति ने भक्तों की तादाद बढ़ते देखकर दर्शन के लिए अच्छी व्यवस्था की है। मान्यता है की बालाजी महाराज सभी इच्छाओं को पूरी करते है!

मंदिर की स्थापना
इस मंदिर के संदर्भ में एक कथा प्रचलित है। स्थानीय किंवदंती के अनुसार, बहुत समय पहले राजस्थान के असोटा गाँव में एक किसान का हल जोतते समय किसी वस्तु से टकरा गया और वहीं रुक गया। किसान ने देखा तो देखा कि कोई पत्थर पड़ा हुआ है। किसान ने खुदाई शुरू की, और बालाजी या हनुमान की एक मूर्ति मिली। उसी समय किसान की पत्नी भी किसान के लिए खाना लेकर खेत में आ गई। उसके दिन के खाने में उसकी पत्नी ने बाजरे का चूरमा बनाया। किसान ने श्री बालाजी महाराज को चूरमा का भोग लगाया। और श्री बालाजी महाराज को बाजरा चूरमा का भोग लगाने का विधान तब से अब तक चला आ रहा है। दिन मंगलवार था और यह श्रावण मास (जुलाई-अगस्त) के शुक्ल पक्ष (पहले पखवाड़े) की नवमी (9वां दिन) था। किसान ने इस घटना के बारे में लोगों को बताया।
हनुमान जी की सबसे मधुर आरती: हनुमान आरती
कहा जाता है कि उस स्थान के जमींदार को भी उसी दिन स्वप्न आया था। सपने में, भगवान हनुमान ने उन्हें सालासर में एक मंदिर में मूर्ति स्थापित करने का आदेश दिया। उसी रात, मोहनदास नाम के एक अन्य व्यक्ति – सालासर के निवासी – को भी भगवान हनुमान ने सपने में आदेश दिया था कि वे मूर्ति को असोटा से सालासर ले जाकर अपनी उपस्थिति स्थापित करें।
Salasar Balaji Dham Temple
Salasar Balaji is a religious place for devotees of Lord Hanuman. It is located on National Highway 668 in Churu district of Rajasthan. Numerous Indian devotees visit Salasar Dham throughout the year for darshan. Big fairs are organized every year on Chaitra Purnima and Ashwin Purnima. This is the only Balaji temple in India which has Balaji’s beard and moustache. The rest of the face is smeared with vermilion to increase the age of Ram in devotion to Ram. Hanuman Seva Samiti works for the management of temples and fairs. There are many dharamshalas to stay here and many restaurants to eat and drink. Shri Hanuman Mandir is situated right in the middle of Salasar town. At present, Salasar Hanuman Seva Samiti has made good arrangements for darshan seeing the increasing number of devotees. It is believed that Balaji Maharaj fulfills all wishes.

Salasar is a part of Churu district in Rajasthan and is located on the Jaipur-Bikaner highway.
Establishment of temple
A story is prevalent in the context of this temple. According to local legend, a long time ago in the village of Asota, Rajasthan, a farmer’s plough collided with an object while ploughing, and stopped there. When the farmer looked, he saw some stone was there. The farmer started digging, and an idol of Balaji or Hanuman was found. At the same time the farmer’s wife also came in the fields with the lunch for farmer. In his lunch his wife made the Churma of Bajra. The farmer indulge Churma to Shree Balaji Maharaj. And from the time and till now it is ritual to indulge Bajra Churma to Shree Balaji Maharaj. The day was Tuesday and it was Navami (9th day) of Shravan month (July–August) in the bright half (first fortnight). The farmer told the people about this incident.
Sweetest Aarti of Hanuman ji: Hanuman Aarti
It is said that the landlord in that place also had a dream on the same day. In the dream, Lord Hanuman ordered him to install the idol in a Mandir in Salasar. On that same night, another person by name Mohandas – a resident of Salasar – was also ordered by Lord Hanuman in a dream to establish his presence by taking the idol from Asota to Salasar.
