Peanut Butter Fudge

There was always a sale of peanut butter fudge going on to raise money for anything they needed around the school. When I was asked to donate something, I would usually whip up some of my family’s favorite homemade recipes. One of them being peanut butter fudge which was loved back then and still continues to be so even now that they call me every year around Christmas time to place an order

Recipe ingredients

4 a cup of sugar
3/4 mug evaporated milk
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/3 pound chunky peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Butter an 8×8-inch baking dish.

In a saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, corn syrup, salt, and 1 cup of water. Bring mixture to a boil, cover, and cook for 2 minutes. Uncover and cook without stirring until little of the mixture dropped in cold water forms a soft ball (230°F on a candy thermometer). Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm (110°F). Add peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until mixture thickens and loses its glossiness. Pour into a prepared pan and cool completely before cutting

As I mentioned, you will only need three things for this recipe – one cup of sugar, one third of a cup of milk and one half teaspoon of vanilla extract. As for the final ingredient, it’ll depend entirely on whether or not you want chocolate-flavored fudge or peanut butter flavored fudge.

To make this recipe work, start off by spraying an 8×8 dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Lastly, stir together the milk and sugar in a large pot. Over high heat, stir continuously until the mixture boils.

Stir continuously or else the mixture will start to stick during the next 12 minutes of boiling.

Add the two ingredients to a saucepan and cook over low heat until it melts together. Pour this mixture into the pie crust or cake pan and let cool for about an hour before cutting

This easy peanut butter fudge recipe is so good, you’ll have no choice but to make it over and over again.

It’s so addicting, I have to keep it away from my family because they can’t stop eating!

It is simply SO. GREAT.

It’s the perfect treat for the person you know who has a peanut butter addiction.
