With 4100 screens available worldwide, even though this was only just released two weeks ago, it seems that there will be no stopping Drishyam 2 anytime soon.
In the region of U.A.E/G.C.C, Drishyam 2 did well to see its business continue to grow at an alarming rate after making a total of $259,000 (USD) in one day including preview screenings on Thursday alone and adding another $243,000 (USD) more the next day before it ended up earning a combined sum of over $900,000 (USD) in just one week from opening weekend showings by itself.
As of now, the total collections for Drishyam 2 within the UAE and GCC markets after one week has been calculated to be $902k [Rs. 7.36 cr] including revenue from paid previews on Thursday. Based off this trend, projections say that Drishyam2 will see an increase in business during its second week running.
