The Ajay Devgn-starring Drishyam 2, which was released this past weekend and received very positive responses from both audiences and critics alike, has been unstoppable. The film exceeded everyone’s expectations while managing to rake in a whopping $60 million over the span of only 3 days. With Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, and Shreya Saran co-starring alongside him – this is what makes Drishyam 2 so appealing.
As per reports, after enjoying a money-spinning opening weekend, the business of Drishyam 2 has seen a significant decrease on its first Monday running. As per conventional releases – and keeping in line with the start of the work week – the number of people buying tickets for the film decreased from yesterday’s numbers. But even so, it seems as though sales for this movie will continue trending up at about 10 crores for Day 4.
Despite the many other movies that had been released before this one, Drishyam 2 was still clearly the audience’s number one choice in theaters. Trade estimates predicted that, barring anything else going wrong, by the end of its first week on theaters this movie would easily come close to reaching 10 crores (1 billion rupees).
