The 28th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness released a couple of weeks ago. Promoted heavily and publicized far and wide, this release did start out strong for its first few days. But then it slowed down as predicted – which shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows what kind of long haul it takes to make these types of films successful. But still considered one of the most anticipated movies lately, it managed to break some records when it comes to box office sales numbers.
In fact, at the worldwide box office, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness drew in a staggering USD 803 million [Rs. 6,231.30 cr.]. With a staggering USD 461 million [Rs. 3,577.37 cr.] coming from the international markets and a further USD 342 million [Rs. 2,654.21 cr.] coming in from the American domestic market, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has done rather well.
