Once you log into VistaCreate, which is available in 5 different languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and French – you’ll be taken to a page where there are buttons to start creating graphics for Facebook posts. You’ll notice each button has a title underneath that shows what it will create; ‘Facebook post’, ‘Square Graphic post’, ‘Square video post’…

Not all templates are free though – if there is a specific one you want but it’s not free, then it will prompt you when you’re editing to sign up for their paid account so that you can edit it to your own needs. In many ways Canva’s editing process is very similar to VistaCreate – they both do things slightly differently and have different sets of options available, but at its core they’re quite similar.

At first glance, both VistaCreate and Canva seem to have lots of resources for you to make use of in your designs, many of them free. What can make them different are the content limitations when using a specific plan. For example, on the Free Plan at VistaCreate, there are over 50,000 templates available versus only about 250,000 for Canva – but Canva comes up ahead where it counts most: Stock Photos. With more than 200,000 images available on its Free Plan alone–not to mention the fact that they also offer videos–Canva is well equipped to handle whatever project you need done.

VistaCreate vs Canva: File management and storage
It’s good to be able to create a design quickly, but it’s even better if you can download it and organize it just as fast. Once you’ve created your design in VistaCreate, for example, all you need to do is click the large ‘Download’ button at the top of the page and choose from one of several formats – like JPG, PNG or PNG Transparent – then it will automatically start downloading onto your device!
It’s the same process in both canva and vista create- with one major difference. While it doesn’t offer PNG transparent files, vistacreate does allow you to save your artwork as SVGs. Another thing worth noting is that while Canva offers unlimited downloads (as long as they are all kept within the app) but only lets users store two folders- vistacreate on the other hand doesn’t require folder storage at all!
Result: The lack of folders on the free tier makes it difficult for me to keep my work organized. However, even though there are drawbacks I find Canva to be the best tool for my needs because I can download as many images as needed without paying anything extra.

It felt clunky and it was easy to spot the designs anywhere on the web or social media; furthermore, when examining its layout and limitations, I thought that the free plan was too limited and it wasn’t worth paying for a monthly membership fee of the Pro Plan.
